Utahime Iori - Wiki
Utahime Iori is one of the supporting characters in Jujutsu Kaisen. She’s a semi-grade 1 Jujutsu sorcerer and a supervisor at Kyoto Jujutsu High.
She made her first manga debut in Chapter 32 and appeared in episode 14 of the series. Although it might sound strange yet she’s a student and a teacher at the same time! Yes, there are some things that you might not know about her, so feel free to scroll all the way down to feed your curiosity!

Appearance
Utahime Iori has to be one of the best waifus in Tokyo Revengers. She has long purple hair extending all the way down to her back. She ties some of her hair strands behind her head and has thin eyebrows with brown eyes. There’s also a scar that covers the right side of her face and the bridge of her nose. No lies, it looks very badass.
She wears the traditional Miko outfit which consists of a white-colored top and red bottom with brown boots. However, casually she likes to wear a long-sleeved shirt and dark-colored shoes with a baseball hat.
Even when she was a student, she wore the same Miko dress with her hair tied in two pigtails. And at that time, there was no scar on her face.

Personality
Utahime appears calm and composed unless she’s being teased by someone. For instance, when Gojo called her a “weak mole“, she couldn’t keep calm and that’s when we get to see her temper. Utahime threw the cup of tea at Gojo despite knowing that nobody or nothing could touch him.

Relationships
Gojo Satoru
Her one and only cause of stress is Gojo Satoru. She’s one of the main competitors of Gojo. The bittersweet relationship between the two of them is one of the sweetest things that I’ve ever seen.
Although she hates when Gojo calls him weak, in fact, it led her to throw a cup of tea at Gojo. But too bad, no one can touch Gojo no matter what. Good for those possessive people who consider Gojo their 2D husband. *no offense*.
Kyoto Students
Kyoto Students have Mai, Miwa, Kokichi Muta, Noritoshi Kamo, Aoi Todo, and Momo Nishimiya. Kyoto Students truly respect and look up to their one and only mentor, Utahime Iori quite often. She has major authority over the students. She makes sure to take careful steps to lead her students in the right direction. As a sensei, Utahime is the best. In fact, she can put her life on the line for the sake of her students. Now, tell me if there’s any better teacher?

Past/History
Gojo Arc
Years before, Utahime and Mei Mei were conducting a mission where they get entrapped in Spirit’s barrier. Satoru Gojo appeareed to save them as they were struggling. He freed them from the spirit’s barrier. Despite getting saved from Gojo, Utahime gets pissed off and notices that she’s going to be savored by the spirit. Suguru
Geto appears on the scene and summons a spirit to get rid of the spirit and barrier. Shoko leiri shows up to ask if Utahime is alright and responds by saying that she’s very glad to see her. After completing the mission with many hardships, Mei Mei and Utahime go back to college. (Chapter 65)
Kyoto Goodwill Event Arc
It’s the fifth arc in Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen series involving the Kyoto Goodwill Event. One of the most epic competitions between the Kyoto and Tokyo teams. It follows the series of Jujutsu Battles.
Utahime arrives in Tokyo along with her students (Kyoto) to attend the Goodwill Event. The Kyoto students start insulting one another. Utahime instead of stopping, tells them to fight with one another. Then suddenly, her curiosity about Gojo kicks.
Gojo arrives at the event and reports that Sukuna’s host or Yuuji’s parasite is alive! (Chapter 32). Gojo also asks Utahima to look for a spy in Kyoto College who’s working with cursed spirits. Again, Utahime’s curiosity kicks which force her to ask that why is he looking for a spy? Gojo assumes her to be one of the spies but then says that she’s got no nerve to be one which makes Utahime throw teacup at him. (Chapter 33).
Just before starting t
he event, she meets other staff members to watch the event. Gojo asks her to give a speech to the students, but wouldn’t give enough time for one. (Chapter 34). Gojo continues teasing her around, when Utahime wonders that why aren’t the Kyoto and Tokyo students getting along, Gojo says that it might be because they are her students. (Chapter 40).
Toge Inumaki with his blissful voice puts Miwa to sleep, Utahime gets worried about her and goes to her. When all of the lucky charms turn red, they all get worried and think that there’s an intruder in the event.
While the students are busy battling, Gojo, Utahime, and Yoshinobu Gakuganji decide to deal with the problem all by themselves. (Chapter 45). A screen covers the site where they are appearing so Utahime tells Gojo to pass through it before it’s too late. Turns out that it was planned by Mahito. He wanted to trap Gojo and defeat him for once and all. Utahime and Yoshinobu were able to enter the screen while Gojo couldn’t. As Utahime goes to all the students, Juzo Kumiya and Yoshinobu decide to fight for Gojo. (Chapter 46).
Just on her way to the students, she encounters another intruder Haruta Shigemo. Mai Zenin and Nobara Kugisaki decide to help Utahime fight Haruta but it was too late, the screen had lifted and the enemy decided to run away!
After this incident, the staff members decide to hold a meeting to discover what actually happened. Then she decides to go back to Kyoto with her students. (Chapter 53)
Death Painting Arc
It’s the sixth arc in Jujutsu Kaisen which involves Yuji, Nobara, and Fushiguro investigating on strange series of curses that led to murders. Their mission involved leading the students to defy the Cursed Womb: Death Paintings. Utahime gets a call from Gojo to find if there’s some new information regarding the students. Yuji, Nobara, and Fushiguro had to confront some of the deadly curses all by themselves.
Nobara gets engaged in a deadly game of chickens. That’s exactly where we get to see her surpassing limits. And Yuji supporting her from behind. Just when she’s at her limit, he takes her on his back and runs. (Chapter 63)
Shibuya Incident Arc
Utahime meets Gojo and his pupils where she suspects Mechamaru to be the Mole. She explains how Mechamaru’s manipulation ability works and how he’s the puppet of Kokichi Muta. (Chapter 79)
As they arrive at the room where Kokichi Muta is supposed to be, they figure out that he’s the mole, since he’s not in there. Then Utahime is on the train along with her Kyoto Students. Mai asks her about Kokichi, she says that it doesn’t matter since he’s already dead. (Chapter 128).
When she arrives at Shibuya with her allies, opening the fire at Pseudo Geto. He uses Maximum Uzumaki on Miwa. Utahime and her allies jump in to save Miwa from him. (Chapter 134).
Momo Nishimiya gets angry and yells at her that she’s not supposed to be at the front. All of a sudden, Choso arrives and yells loudly “Noritoshi Kamo“. Everyone gets shocked and tells that it’s the plot of the Kamo Family who’s the evilest sorcerer till now!
