Attack on Titan is one of the most loved anime. The show was responsible for pushing Anime as a medium to the mainstream. But the two greatest things about this show include vibrant characters and a one-of-a-kind setting.

Today we will be looking at the birth dates of these awesome characters. Many people share multiple similar characteristics with the people born in the same month. This is also true for all the characters in Attack on Titan, their birthdays are carefully chosen by the author. So, let’s find your birthday twin and see what’s common between you guys!

Oluo Bossard
Olu had the highest titan kill record (excluding Levi) in Levi’s famous Special Operations Squad. He respected Levi immensely and was fiercely loyal to him. But, he had gone a step further with copying Levi’s demeanor and appearance. This actually made him appear a bit cocky. Levi and he even have the same zodiac sign, Capricorn.
Keiji
An officer of the fourth squad of Scout Regiment led by Hanje. He was a capable fighter who had made it through some major on-screen clashes with the Colossal and the Armored Titan. But as a member of Hanje’s squad, we see him assisting in experiments and tactical missions.
Krista Lenz
Krista was the alias used by Historia Reiss when she was recruited by the Scouts. She is the last member of the real royal family and queen within the walls. When acting as Krista, she was cute, kind, and warm, so sometimes she was called goddess or an angel by her peers.
Hannes
A unit captain of a Garrison Regiment squad and friend of the Yeager family. He came across as cowardly and unconcerned at first. But, the guy showed tremendous heart when he went to save Mikasa and Eren from the titan attack.
Grisha Yeager
The biological father of Eren and Zeke, and adoptive father of Mikasa. At first glance, he is a calm and calculating guy, but inside he was extremely passionate. A lot of times a very rash and hard–headed individual. In addition to that, he embodied all the negative characteristics that are sometimes associated with people born in later January, being rebellious, impatient, and unrealistic.
Carla Yeager
Not much is known about Carla apart from her being Eren’s mother. It’s obvious that she was an extremely kind and selfless woman, as she gave up her life for Mikasa and Eren out of love.
Eld Jinn
Eld was second-in-command, directly under Levi in the original Special Operation Squad (scouts). He was a capable leader who prioritized teamwork, while his approach to things was always prudent and professional.

A unit captain of a Garrison Regiment squad and friend of the Yeager family. He came across as cowardly and unconcerned at first. But, the guy showed tremendous heart when he went to save Mikasa and Eren from the titan attack.
Mitabi Jarnach
The biological father of Eren and Zeke, and adoptive father of Mikasa. At first glance, he is a calm and calculating guy, but inside he was extremely passionate. A lot of times a very rash and hard–headed individual. In addition to that, he embodied all the negative characteristics that are sometimes associated with people born in later January, being rebellious, impatient, and unrealistic.
Marlowe Freudenberg
Not much is known about Carla apart from her being Eren’s mother. It’s obvious that she was an extremely kind and selfless woman, as she gave up her life for Mikasa and Eren out of love.

Hugo
Hugo, a member of the Garrison Corps and an associate of Hannes. Seems to be a cowardly pushover at first, but he is seen regrouping soldiers and shouting orders as a capable leader when Shiganshina District is attacked.

He was one of the members of the Cadet Corps. Tom with his friends followed Mikasa in her mission to retake Trost District’s Military HQ. Unfortunately, they were all killed by titans when their ODM gears ran out of fuel.

Annie Leonhardt
An extremely capable titan ability user in possession of the female titan. She comes across as emotionless, seeing both sides of the conflict in a realistic sense. Annie’s intellect lets her be unaffected by propaganda. She does not have strong feelings for any cause, just trying to survive the best she can. That said, she has a fascination for people who are passionate about their beliefs, i.e. Eren.
Mina Carolina
Mina had a bright cheery personality being an honest devoted soldier. She was a member of the 104th Training Corps tragically killed after attempting to save Eren displaying immense bravery.
Eren Yeager
This guy had one hell of a transformation through his life. From being an iron–willed hard-head impulsive yet very righteous and compassionate idiot to a level-headed thinker who is always a step ahead of everyone else. When younger he was naive and thought everything could be solved without armed conflict, but as he matured he knew to survive means to fight for his people. While he was always a charismatic person who often inspired courage out of the most cowardly people around him.

Jean Kirstein
Jean is one of the most capable members of the Survey Corps, being one of the 10 strongest graduates of the 104th Training Corps. As a person, he is an honest realist, oftentimes very blunt not caring about the repercussions. He never leaps into danger without a very good reason, coming off as cowardly. However he does want to fight for a better world, he is no idealistic hero, nor does he strives to be one. Through time we see him being infected by some idealistic notions that he criticizes so harshly.
Hannah Diamant
Hannah was a member of the 104th Survey Corps. Her personality was optimistic and bright. Apart from that, she was very kind, almost too kind to be in a military line of work. Shown when she kept trying to revive the heart of her friend who was torn in half except worrying for her safety.
Gabi Braun
Gabi is like Marley’s version of a younger Eren Yeager, only worst and more delusional. Eren had directed his anger to the mindless titans and rightly so. But, sadly Gabi’s anger is pointed to the people of her own race, for the sins that their ancestors have committed. The only saving grace for her is that she is still a kid, an extremely brainwashed kid. And she is compassionate for her people.
Darius Zackly
He used to be the premier of all three major regiments within the walls. He was a strict, honest, and objective person who wanted best for the humanity. Moreover, we always saw him composed in almost all situations, never giving a very expressive reaction. Although he showed his brutal side when he called the inhumane torture machine a work of art.
Tomas
He was a member of Scout Regiment directly under section commander Miche. He was a veteran soldier with exceptional willpower. Tomas was the guy who broke the news of Wall Rose’s breach to Erwin as fast as possible, showing dedication.
Moblit Berner
He was the vice commander of the Hange’s squad. Moblit was like the personal caretaker of his captain, always there to save her from her own craziness. Moreover, as a person he was very loyal and responsible, also he got pretty intense in serious situations.
May
Connie Springer
Connie is perhaps still the most naïve one among all the graduates of 104th. As someone born in May, he is very protective of people close to him. Connie never forgot about his mother even after all these years and was the person most affected by what happened to Sasha. No matter how much he tries to be vengeful, his kindness always shined at the end.
Hitch Dreyse
Hitch doesn’t appear to take anything too seriously, her personality is lighthearted. But, at times she shows herself to be sharp and aware. She is among the small group of very few people who have shouted something at Levi and got away with it. And that takes more courage than facing any titan if you ask me.
June
Anka Rheinberger
One of the most capable members of the Garrison Regiment. She is among the personal escorts of commander Pyxis, whom she obeys without fail. As a soldier she appears cold and emotionless, executing all orders assigned to her without questioning them.
Thomas Wagner
One of the few people with blond hair in 104th Training Corps. He was one of those who believed that humans can never face titans. But he overcame that fear after hearing a passionate speech by Eren.
Marco Bott
He was always the voice of reasoning in every situation. A kind leader who truly believed in the power of a group above the individual. Also, Marco was pretty good with people, dissolving arguments left and right. He saw hidden potential in others, encouraging them.
Nac Tius
A fellow trainee of Eren and others. Not much is known about him, but we do see that he was caring towards his friends. He died an honorable death fighting the titans alongside his comrades.
Nanaba
Nanaba was among the respected veteran members of Squad Mike. As a person, she liked to keep it to herself, and as a soldier, she remained composed. In addition to that, she was very protective of her squadmates and also the unarmed trainees entrusted to her by Erwin.
July
Alma
Alma is the biological mother of Historia. Despite being remembered fondly by her, she was a very selfish woman who hated her own daughter. In her eyes, Historia was the constant reminder of her life going south.
Gustav
He was another one of Commander Pixis’s escorts in the Garrison regiment. Unlike some other high-ranking officials, he has shown a lot of concern for the lives of foot soldiers.
Sasha Blouse
Sasha was the biggest foodie in the show. She was fun and friendly to everyone she met, beloved by all. This girl was much simpler than others, and fans love that about her. Apart from that, she was one of the most experienced and proficient soldiers in the military. What set her apart was her sharpshooting abilities, her unrivaled mastery over ranged weapons.
Gunther Schultz
Another one of the most capable soldiers handpicked by Levi to part of his squad. He was the most aware and reasonable one out of all of them. Gunther also had a strict side as he seemed annoyed with others when they are losing their undivided focus when on a mission.

Reiner Braun
Reiner is the vice commander of the warrior unit and an accomplished fighter in possession of the Armored Titan. He had gone through one hell of a ride, at first, he was always optimistic and saw the world as black and white. But after his trip to Paradise Island had opened his eyes to reality. Living a double life had taken an immense mental toll on him. He remained loyal to his people, being a decisive leader after a period of downtime.
Zeke Yeager
One of the most layered and complicated characters of the show. Zeke is a man with a plan to solve all the bad faced by Eldians. Is methods were ruthless, but justified in his mind. He was highly intelligent even from a young age, his skill with the Beast Titan was second to none. He cared deeply for those under his wing. He never showed an ounce of fear even in the worst case scenarios.
Kitz Weilman
He is the man in charge of Garrison’s 1st Division Elite Forces. This guy is always seen wearing an expression of never-ending worry. And when the situation gets especially dire, his mindless paranoia takes over. Thus, he makes some really foolish decisions from time to time guided by fear.
Keith Shadis
Although he may come across as imposing, Keith did his job perfectly as an instructor, in my humble opinion. The man had a great eye for analyzing others, an ability he used to prepare trainees before sending them to fight, so their chances of survival improve. He was the commander-in-chief of the Scouts before Ervin. Fun fact, he is the only commander in Scout Regiment’s history to retiree before dying on the battlefield.
September
Zoe Hange
Hange succeeded Erwin as the Commander of the Survey Corps. Whenever on-screen Hange is always upbeat and curious about everything, typical for being a person of science. The nature of this character is shown to be brutal at times, but the heart remains pure. Despite what the anime tells you, in the source material we still don’t know if Hanje is male or female.
Dot Pixis
He is the wisest man among the top leadership. The perfect man in charge of keeping the walls safe. Pixis was always invested in the survival and progression of all the people he is in charge of protecting. Not fueled by anything more common like vengeance or hate. He was widely respected by all the soldiers, and when he talked everyone listened closely.
Dita Ness
Dita was appointed a team leader in the expedition outside the walls. The guy seemed genuinely likable because of his good leadership skills and his truly caring attitude towards new recruits. He was cautious and advised trainees to avoid titans whenever possible in the expeditions, although when it’s unavoidable he never showed any hesitation.
Daz
Before the time skip Daz was a coward through and through. He was so scared of the titans that he used to desert his post, he even tried to commit suicide to avoid facing titans. Although he did show some heart when it came to his family. After the time skip, he matured a bit, still, we couldn’t call him brave per se.
Luke Siss
He was a trusted and respected member of the Scout Regiment. He performed his duties under Dita when he participated in the 57th expedition. There he easily took down an abnormal titan, although he was no match for the Female Titan in an open field.
Darius Baer Varbrun
Daruis was another one of the team leaders in the 57th Expedition beyond the walls. He was pretty creative when it came to combat, as he was the first one who tried to blind Female Titan with his signal flare.
October
Erwin Smith
Erwin is the only character on this list, who is born in October. And he embodies all the positive characteristics associated with the people born in that month in a much-exaggerated manner. He is charming, calm, collected, smart, and intelligent. But his leadership is on another level, there are not many characters in anime that can rally their subordinates behind them to willingly march to their deaths. He always stays objective and does what is needed for the collective good, without considering his personal feelings or wellbeing.
November
Mike Zacharias
He was considered the second strongest soldier humanity has got after Captain Levi. Another thing, he had a unique ability to smell approaching titans from a considerable distance. But, the most respectable aspect of him was his belief to never stop fighting, and he stayed true to it till the bitter end. When he showed his sword to the face of Beast Titan in an impossibly hopeless situation. This was after he faced a large number of titans so that his squad mates have enough time to escape.
Nile Dok
Nile used to serve as the commander–in–chief of the Military Police. This guy was smart, he always thoroughly analyzed a situation before giving his input. Moreover, he was always open to change his opinion when rationally persuaded. Nile was the polar opposite of Minister Nick in the way of thinking.
Armin Arlelt
Armin is the kindest person among the hyper-intelligent characters. He always has an idea of what to do in any given situation. He is not the coolest or the strongest guy when it comes to fighting. It’s a well-known trait about people born in November, they are pacifist. But he is an irreplaceable asset to the Scouts. Not the most charismatic leader, but he is one of the smartest strategists in the show.
Nick
Minister Nick was a high–ranking, very devoted follower of the Church of the Walls. He was an extremist religious ideologue who was constantly shouting his thoughts about others. The guy was very passionate about executing Eren when he found out about his Titan Ability. In his eyes, everyone who disagrees is a sinful horrible person.
Franz Kefka
His build suggests that he is someone tough or imposing. But in actuality, he is a gentle giant, very soft with his approach. We don’t see him display any kind of hate or aggression. But he did heroically vowed to protect Hannah with his life in the face of grave danger.
Millius Zermusky
He was one of the rookies that trained alongside Eren and the others. His personality was the opposite of outspoken, as he acted shyly most of the time. Although he once tried to stop Eren from attacking blindly. But, when Eren didn’t listen, he followed after him, showing courage and loyalty when it comes to others.
Dimo Reeves
He seemed one of the heartless rich merchants within the wall. But, he showed some layers in his character being smart and truthful in reality. Although he is not winning any awards for being a very compassionate guy when it came to money.
December
Petra Ral
Petra was an extremely proficient member of Levi’s squad with an impressive titan headcount. Despite that, her nature was caring and gentle. Furthermore, she probably had feelings for Levi, but I mean who doesn’t?
Rico Brzenska
She is the sole survivor of the Garrison’s Squad tasked with protecting Eren in his titan form. At first glance, her demeanor looks cold and calculating. But, she is heavily affected by the deaths of her comrades. Her willpower is something to be applauded, as she kept fighting when all seemed hopeless.
Lynne
A proud member of the Scout Regiment, she is empathetic towards the pain of others. As she made an effort to give Connie hope when his home village was attacked.
Moses
Moses was a member of the Scout Regiment. Although he was not the most powerful, he truly was a hero that showed no signs of fear. He holds the unfortunate title of being one of the first persons to be killed by a titan in the anime.
Samuel Linke-Jackson
Really? A guy named Samuel L. Jackson in an Anime! He was a very capable soldier one of the 104th Training Squad. Samuel was one of the soldiers who defect to be part of the Jaegerist. His personality was fleshed out more when he seemed openly joyful after the Libero Raid despite the losses.
Levi Ackerman
This is literally the strongest man on earth. It doesn’t matter how many fancy abilities you have, you can’t be a threat to Levi Ackerman, who is only a human. As someone born in December he is very individualistic, always fine on his own, but that doesn’t mean he is not a team player. The guy comes across as a total brute, but he does have a lot of compassion and empathy. Although he has a strange way of showing it. Remember when he beat the crap out of Eren in the courtroom to save him from execution? Also, He has a strange obsession with cleaning, and that’s unexpected since his job requires him to be drenched in titan blood.
Bertholt Hoover
One of the warriors unit, former possessor of the Colossal Titan. He suffered from having low self-esteem. The guys seemed to care for people of the Paradise Island, but his loyalty to fellow warriors kept him from sympathizing with the other side.
